Tailor in Bangkok for Women suits/dresses?

  • Hi There everyone! I will be travelling to Bangkok soon and was hoping to have a few suits or office type dresses made. Anyone know of somewhere easy to access that do a great job? Also any idea on the price?? We will be staying at the Siam @ Siam hotel so somewhere close by would be best, we will be there for 5 days so hopefully that enough!!

    This's one of my friend's favorite tailor in Bangkok, which's easy access BTS (sky train) from your hotel, just get off at Chitlom station. I don't know about the price wheter it's reasonable or not (I'm rarely wear any tailor made clothes now). I think you may be happy with their material selection and decent cutting. Crown Tailors is four/nine block from the places I have listed. I have heard they a good tailor shop. The two places I know about are Rajawongse Clothier and Pinkie Tailor. They are close to each other on Sukhumvit. Rajawongse Clothier is at the Nana BTS and Pinkie is at the PloenChit BTS. (I have walked from one to the other, about 5 blocks). As for price, it depends on material but $200-400. Many US presidents/diplomats/spies have bought from Rajawongse Clothier.
