Is there a cheap and good hotel in Barra?

What is a really good CHEAP hotel to book in Pattaya, Thailand, and where can I book that Hotel?

  • I'm going to Pattaya, Thailand in january. I'm looking for a four star hotel that is really cheap. I noticed significant price different between different booking website? Do you know a website that books hotels in Thailand for cheap?

  • Answer:

Real 4 star hotels don't come cheap. You want to stay at a cheaper place lower your standards and get a 3 star hotel or maybe even better a guest house. You get what you pay for here. If you get a cheap 4 star hotel here you be better off getting a 3 star hotel at the same price.

There are many inexpensive and expensive hotels in Pattaya, Thailand. Right now is supposed to be high season but many tourists are staying away because of the unrests in Bangkok. I am in Pattaya and you will only see it on TV here. All the action is in Bangkok. Back to your question....What is a good cheap hotel and where can you book that hotel? Use the link below to find any and all hotels in Pattaya. No Star to 5 Star hotels. Book for one or two nights which will give you time to find another one if you are not happy with that hotel. A hotel I like is called Silver Place and it is one 3rd road in Pattaya across from exyte discothek. 650 Baht a night. Friendly, clean and safe. Bringing a friend home is not a problem. You can't book that hotel online and that's why I suggest to book one on the web site link provided below.

Well how much do you intend to pay for a "really cheap" 4 star hotel in Pattaya? Isn't "really cheap" and 4 star sort of an oxymoron? Will you be arriving at the end of January or at the beginning of January? Close to New Years day may be more expensive than the last few days. You can find hotels with air, hot water, private toilet, maid service, security box and air conditioning starting around 800 baht. What price level do you want to spend on a hotel room? Not everyone has the same price in mind when you say "cheap." Cheap for me is under 900 baht. For some travelers cheap is under 400 baht per night. These are "no-star" hotels! You can deal directly with a hotel if you want and not go through any outside website. This place isn't too bad! http://www.arecalodge.com/ Here is a couple new places: http://www.gothailand.com/hotels/pattaya/frameme.php?page=/tim-boutique-hotel/ http://www.atsiam.com/hotels/pattaya/lk_renaissance_thailand.asp List of hotels in Pattaya: http://www.sawadee.com/hotels/pattaya.html http://www.atsiam.com/hotel_alphabet/hotels_pattaya.asp Choose a hotel near Pattaya 2nd Road (Pattaya Sai Song) so it will be easy to walk to many places or take a 10 baht baht bus ride. A-one The Royal Cruise Hotel was good and staff was also very courteous. Room space was also enough. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Location of the hotel at Pattaya Beach was very approachable for all attractions. superior new wing USD65/night (originally USD113) w/breakfast http://www.discovery-thailand.com/Hotels%20Map%20Pages/Pattaya%20Map/North%20Pattaya%20Hotel%20Location%20Map.html Have a nice trip!

The best site to book cheap hotels in thailand would probably be www.latestays.com I've compare number of websites, none beats the website mentioned above. Some may be around the same price, but with latestays.com you can book last minute, like on the day before checking in, with many websites you'll have book at least 3-4 days ahead.

In general the hotels in Pattaya are all pretty good. There are those who "think" they are really good and generally jack the prices up because of location or views or whatever. My best advice is that you take a look at: http://www.pattayahome.net/home/ and follow the advice on hotels at: http://www.pattayahome.net/home/hotels/ Good Luck. Enjoy!

HI Look at this http://compare.uk.net/a/index.php?data=MD02MzUzNiZwcm92a2V5d29yZD1wYXR0YXlhIGhvdGVsJmJpZG1hdGNoPXMmYmlka2V5d29yZD1wYXR0YXlhIGhvdGVscw%3D%3D or www.aisarooms.com , look at the sunbeam hotel its only 3* but in a great location If you are booking a double room put 2 names on booking as the hotels will charge you if you take a girl back to room even if its a double you have payed for they go buy how many names on booking not by size of room , when you check in just say your partner will arrive later

While in Pattaya I stay at the Welkom Resort. It's clean, good service, relaxing and no joiner fees. It's in a good location away from Walking Street but you can take the bus for 10 baht each way to get to Walking Street (a must see one time). All the info you need about booking the room and info about Pattaya is at http://www.welkominnthailand.com/
