What's the cheapest way me and my friend can fly to bangkok, thailand and study muay thai for 3 months?
-
We have looked online at some places, including pattaya and phuket to learn muay thai, but we want to know if anyone knows the cheapest combination... we are in Florida, and were considering taking a train to vegas or new york to fly even cheaper to thailand... any other suggestions would be great... we have a budget of $2,500 including flight, and training (most camps do a plan where you get 6 days a week training, 3 meals a day, and a place to stay)... any other suggestions awesome too! thanks!!

Answer:
Greyhound bus is cheaper than a train. I took it from Florida to California, so I bet it's the same from FL to NY or Vegas. But there's no way you can do it on $2,500. That's your 2 plane tickets right there, no matter where you fly out of, with a train or greyhound, it will still be around $2,500. You won't have enough money for the camp, or the visas. I'm a 28 year old American from Florida, living in California now. I've stayed in Thailand before, but I'm going back in 2 months for a year. If you decide you want to stay longer than 3 months, and you're done with the camp or just don't want to stay there, turn your messages on and send me a message as we may be able to benefit each other while out there. I want some room mates to make rent cheaper for me, and in return, we can work together to make money on the internet. I make a meager living from it now, but it's enough to live on out there, and I'm building a new website in which I need some partners to help me with it. We could share the revenue, but it would take a few months of work out there for it to pay off (but you could make money right away by writing articles for companies like Associated Content, Ehow, and helium, and by doing other things I could show you). Main reason I'm going is to launch this site, and live as cheaply as possible until it takes off, because I can't afford to live in the U.S. on the small amount I make from the internet now.

For $2500 for two people including flight, its not going to happen. Sorry

the flight alone for two people round trip is gonna be atleast 1000 each. Even though Thailand is cheap there is no possible way you could do it counting ur training cost. If you said 2500 each then I would say you would be able to do it depending on how much the training is.
