How can I get driving experience?

How do i get a driver's license in Taiwan? I have zero driving experience.?

  First of all, it depends if you are a Taiwanese citizen or a foreigner. If you're a foreigner, you'll have to obtain a driver's license in your own country of citizenship to get an International Driving Permit, which allows you to drive in Taiwan temporarily. To drive for a longer period of time, you'll need to apply for a temporary driving permit in Taiwan. If you are a citizen, you have to be at least 18, go to a learning center in Taiwan to learn how to drive, then be tested to obtain a license. You can also learn the basics on your own, but it's usually recommended to learn at a center. Usually there are several centers around different areas.
