How do I get into hotel industry?

Where can I get answers on finding a job in the hotel/ restaurant industry in Taipei, Taiwan?

• I have worked in the hotel/restaurant for 1 and 4 years. I have searched the internet but cannont get a clear guide for anything at all. I was just wondering if anyone has any info on it. I am a 22 year old male from California, USA. Any information will be helpful.

  Taiwan only issues employment visas to foreigners with credentials in key professions. A university degree and professional work experience are basic requirements. Attorneys, doctors, engineers, software programmers, and other skilled professionals are the only foreigners eligible for Taiwan employment visas. Taiwan has plenty of its own people to fill low-skill jobs like bartenders, waiters, front desk clerks, etc.
