What is some evidence of continental drift?

I finally found out evidence Taiwan was part of China--the plate tectonics & continental drift!! check the map?

  • pls check all stages, at least before 450000000 years, Taiwan was part of China, because the island is stuck together with the continent. later the taiwan island ''drifted out'' to the sea.     If Taiwan is part of China, then China is part of Russia, Russia is part of America, and so is Mexico, Korea, Japan, India, and all of the countries in the world because it used to be one big piece of land mass on Earth before the evolution which lead to tectonic movements causing the separation of continents and formation of islands. My suggestion is to learn science first, showbiz and entertainment later. Pick some actual encyclopedia first, rather than comic books or magazines. lol

Based on your evidence the island now known as Taiwan was a part of ASIA, not China, because China didn't exist for another few hundred million years. But, thanks for the laugh. You're cute. ;^) EDIT: Been thinking a bit more on this. Is it China's intention to reverse 450,000,000 years of the Earth trying to help Taiwan escape China? Hmm. I looked at your map; you are right. China is part of Russia, and so is England and Germany. They are all placed on the Eurasian plate. You should go travel back in time and learn Russian. The other fault in your theory is the fact that the modern PRC didn't exist until 1949. Your map shows a theoretical world as it existed 450 milion years ago before mankind had even thought of rifles or capitalism or factories. Actually at that point, mankind was probably rodent-kind or some kind of post dinosaur lifeform. Our lovely raptor ancestor cousins would have been dining on our ancestors at that stage of evolution. If we play our cards right we will soon evolve our exoskeletons and regeneration abilities to bond ourselves to our computers. Then we can get off the planet and start spreading life to new planets. But chances are, your narrow focus on political non-issues will cause your untimely death before you can view the Singularity. :) Or not.
