    gays in singapore arent as open as other gays in for example the Philippines. we know there are plenty of them in singapore, then you dont seen 'obvious gays' walking down the streets holding hands and stuff...its not really accepted well as yet here. i dont think having intercourse with the same sex is punishable as long as you dont rape or do it with a under aged dude... then i dont think it would be a problem. dont worry about it man, just be urself and live free here.

Borrowing part of the speech from the PM about this issue. Singapore is still a conservative society. There is a legal regulation against intercourse of that nature. However, there are pockets of space where you will find acceptance. Just dun do it overtly in public.

No, there isn't a discrimination. It's an unnatural thing, therefore not approved in Singapore. It's not about Singapore being a conservative state just as the PM had said in his speech, he just needed to say something to shut everybody mouths and minds from thinking too far.
