Money Exchange! Singapore Taiwan?

  • Need to change money from Singapore dollars to Taiwan Dollars. I wanna know where should I change, a good changer in singapore or in Taiwan? Not sure if buying SGD in Singapore is better or selling SGD in Taiwan is better. In any case, if anyone can suggest where to buy Taiwan Dollars in Singapore or sell Singapore Dollars in Taiwan, dat would be great! I mean...a known good changer

    I have exchanged currencies from a number of forex dealers in singapore. I would high recommend Tahir Mohammed Exchange at Hitachi Towers Ground floor - Raffles Place. He provides the best rate for currency. I have exchanged USD and HKD from him on at least 4 occassions and i find that the rates are very good especially if the amount is high. I do not recommend dealers on Orchard and small timers as they charge a very high spread which may not be good for you.

Confirm, buying NT in Singapore by SGD is better,you will ' earn "6 % more.( I use to do so ) if for USD to NT,Change IT in Taiwan.there is one Chinese money changers at Alab St,just direct opposite of Golden landmark Hotel.the old shop houses . there always give good rate than other.but close around 5pm.///// just buy me cook !! be good in Taipei.
