Question about commuting to Temple main?

Singaporean~i have question about Buddhist Temple..?

  • I would like to make a wish at a buddhist temple while im on vacation in Singapore.Any Recommendation over this?which temple can i pay a visit?

  • Answer:

Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple, Waterloo Street. According to my first fengshui master it's one of the most powerful temples in Singapore. He leaves placement objects there overnight to be charged with Goddess energy. You look into the eyes of the Goddess till you feel a connection in your heart and she speaks with you. When your wish is fulfilled, you'll return to give respectful thanks. http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_4844/travel_site_13036/

High Road temple is the biggest in the whole region . Also there is one that is worth a visit off River Valley Road , just forgot the street but it is quite incredible the art work is amazing , but most of all they do big time community service work , Feed hundreds of people , free medical work , etc. Go upstairs to second level at lunch and dinner time for a three course meal like in a big restaurant. You can also volunteer there from day to day , and actually sleep there .A very heartfull experience .

Thian Hock Kheng temple at telok ayer street is quite famous but not as famous as the one in waterloo street .
