Does any body knows where an international student can have a summer job?

Summer job for American student in Singapore?

  • i will be spending the summer in Singapore with my family but don't want to sacrifice a whole summer of not working (I am a college sophomore). i was just wondering if i had ANY options for working there? if anyone has any information about this or knows where I could look, or if it is even possible, that would be GREAT!! (i have been there three times before but never had to actually deal with the idea of working, haha)

    Getting a job in Singapore is not like getting a job in the US. You are a foreigner for one, you have to get a work permit that can take up to 2 months to receive after the company has agreed to hire you and submitted the paperwork. By the time that happens your vacation could be over.

Singapore are Welcome Foreigners to handle Professionals / Executives / Technical Skill job **.Foreigners need to apply Work Pass before start working ** as this moment ,you Eduction and work experience are not Qualified to apply Employment Pass even S-PASS. * We also need General Labours / Construction worker that work under Work Permit , but that only allow for China/India/Thailand/Malaysia Passport holder. Under our Manpower Policy, you can never get a job with Work Pass ,until you get you Degrees./// you can visit our National Library during you " summer holiday", or does some Voluntary Social Work,that should be the way, not a good idea to work ! and it not allow for you to work with out any type of Work Pass.
