Can i get a job in singapore?

Study in NUS in Singapore.....im allowed to work 20 hours a week partime what job can i get?

  • Im gonna study a masters in chemistry in NUS..i hope.........but i want to work part time in Singapore to help with money...what kind of job can i get?.....im 28 from Ireland. Guess i could look up work in my field but if i cant get that!........what else could i do...i was a security guard for a nightclub in ireland....could i do that in singapore?

    You can work as a private tutor, retail assistant or waiter in a restaurant. NUS might even allow you to be a teaching assistant if you are really good.

Don't go into security unless you can stand working long hours on shift with crappy. I think the best part-time job would be a private tutor as it pays welll with flexi working hours. You could also try working in restaurants as a waiter or sales assistant in retail as thoose are common part-time jobs for students
