Job At T-mobile Call Center?

I need a Call Center Job in Singapore?

  • I've been searching for a nice job in Singapore that could fit my qualification. I have over 4 years of call center experience in the Philippines, graduated in a nice school with a degree in mass communication, i was also able to get 18 units in Education >> so why do you think I'm having a hard time looking for a nice job in Singapore? I've tried jobstreet, singaporejobsonline but to no avail. Most companies & recruitment agencies in Singapore need Singaporeans & PRs to work for them. But I can't have a PR if I don't have an employer to support me, right? If I come to Singapore for a 5 day visit, & spend most of my time applying in call centers, do you think I'll be able to land a job in that short span of time? I'm desperate for help. I really want to work in Singapore.

  • Answer:

with your educational background and work experience, you can definitely land a good, nice job in singapore; but 5 days will not be enough! they have strict recruitment system in singapore. you have to undergo 1st, 2nd, and 3rd interviews before final acceptance. all those times, you have to be personally available. once you come there, they will give you automatic 30 days visit visa; you can use it up and extend for another 30 days if you require. the thing is, you have to have somebody to stay with so that your expenses (board and lodging) won't be very high. i'm positive that before the 60 days lapses, you will have found a nice, good job! goodluck!

have you tried the recruitment agencies in the Philippines? Most of them who come for a short trip have difficulty of looking for sponsor because its a govt requirement to prioritise locals over foreign workers and verify on the spot if one is a citizen or a permanent resident. But , dont worry, ive seen a lot of filipinos working in Singtel under work permit and when I ask them, they all applied in a Phil agency(i dunno the name). Since you are working in the call center, I believe that there are news on how filipinos manage to get the jobs over here. Just ask around and get tips on how they got the job here. This is where networking will get in handy.
