Is it cheaper to buy electronic gadgets in Singapore?

    I've checked it out via questions in Malaysia side, Singapore side, and comparing with NZ (where i am now). The conclusion is: they are all similar price when converted into the same value. Not much different if i buy from NZ, S'pore or M'sia.

Hi, I went to singapore befor I traveled through oz 3 years ago, me and my girlfriend needed a digital camera and was told it will be alot cheaper in singapore. we went to the sim lim tower, near like a little india and bought a cannon camera. afterwards we worked out the value after converting from sinapore dollars to sterling and looked on the net to see if it was any cheaper. it was but the diference was so small that I would have perfered to buy online in the uk. It would be easier to use the 1 year warrenty if bought in you home country as well
