Are there good shows in bangkok?

S'poreans who have been to Bangkok, pls help!?

• I have been to Bangkok 8 times but I have never seen the "pingpong" shows and the "transverstites" shows. Can anyone recommend me where to see such shows in Patpong? Or Khao San? Or anywhere? I want to watch a good show and don't want to be ripped off or be cheated. Please give me the names of the bars and the street names!

  Er, you can't walk around those areas without being accosted by people wanting to sell you tickets. Just hone your basic bargaining skills and don't be pressured to take the first offer. That's all. Competition is stiff. Pun unintended. :/ If you don't want to be "ripped off" go into several travel agents in Bangkok. Gosh, it's no secret, is it? Some shows are just full of busloads of deadpan geriatric Japanese or Korean tourists. Check the names of 'reputable' places that keep popping up (oh, dear, now that one was wholly unintentional, honest!) common to all and their going prices, then minus some from those if you still want to go it alone. I don't think there will be a huge variation in standard. I mean, what's to choose from popping bottles of Coke or balloons with well aimed darts between... one woman to another... or between men for that matter? PS: The cost of a ticket includes your first drink. Just stay away from the Coke.
