SENTOSA IS VERY GOOD TO VISIT BUT IS VERY TOURISTY IT IS A RESORT SO BRING YOUR SWIMMERS THERE NOT THE GREAT BEACHES BUT SINGAPORES WEATHER YOUR GONNA NEED THOSE SWIMMER IT IS A NICE PLACE AND OK TO STAY WITH FAMILY AND KIDS THERE IS A CASINO BEING BUILT THERE THIS YEAR WHICH IS BASICALLY FINISHED - THIS IS GOING TO BE CROWDED BECAUSE IT WAS JUST OPENED PLUS IT CAN GET A LITTLE BIT PARTY-ISH BECAUSE LOTS OF EXPATS ANDTOURISTS HANG OUT ON THE BEACHES AND STUFF AND HAVE PARTIES - INVOLVING ALCOHOL THE ACCOMODATION WOULD BE GREAT BUT VERY, AND I MEAN VERY, EXPENSIVE ITS A GOOD PLACE BUT I WOULDNT RECOMMEND STAYING THERE GOOD LUCK

Hi, There's lots of construction going on on Sentosa currently - they're building the intergrated resorts. The cable cars are being upgraded so you can't ride on them. If you're on a budget, head for the beaches...still good for swimming/sunbathing/sandcastle building. If you've got a bigger budget, the Underwater World and Luge ride would be fun for the kids. See http://www.sentosa.com.sg/sentosadiy/families/families.html Staying in a hotel on Sentosa is not going to be cheap though...better to stay on Singapore island and make Sentosa a day trip. Do check out the largest shopping mall in Singapore, Vivocity which is linked to Sentosa by a train system (Sentosa Express). PS: Welcome to Singapore in advance!

Yes. I believe children will like Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon. These 2 attractions are combined in one ticket. Worthwhile also are the Luge & Skyride, and Songs of the Sea laser show. Check out also the free things to do, such as the Sentosa Nature Discovery Centre and the animal shows at Palawan Beach.

Sentosa is good for vacation for the whole family. There are a lot of attractions & rides for the kids & of cos beaches. However, to cover everything there, you need money, energy & time.
