NDP Preview on 28 July 2007. Can still enter into esplanade area to catch the fireworks without NPD tickets?

This year, NPD will be held at Marina Bay. For those without NPD tickets, are they allowed into the areas near the Esplanade to catch the fireworks? Any tips on the best places to see the fireworks?

Do you think the govement will close down the Marina Bay shopping for this? Why dont try to rent a room at the hotel need there? High view, so the fireworks look very very near. Show us some of your photo after that. :)
