Welcome to Singapore! 1, Go to your nearest Singapore embassy to obtain Singapore visa. For the charges, you can send an email to them. Depends whats your nationaly when it comes to how long the visa you can get, normally they call it social visit pass or tourist visa for 14 days only. 2, You can try Singapore Airlines, because its Singapore's national carrier and also won so many reviews awards on safety, food, hospitality, services etc.. 3, Yeah, 10 days is more than enough to see the beauty of Singapore. Actually, 7 days is just nice. You can find the places to visit from Singapore Tourism website, which you can obtain from Google. 4, Singapore has no seasons, it can rain anytime, shine anytime, and partly cloudy etc.. Low lying clouds here, since its an island-state, a city state. Its humid all day long, no matter even if its raining outside during middle of the night, it would still be humid, as the wind is normal, not like chill like in other countries. So be prepared for excessive sweating, even right after your shower, unless your living in a airconditioned place always, thats a different story, but luckily all public places here are airconditioned and that includes the public transport too. And always carry a umbrella as it can rain anytime, but when it thunders, try to be in a sheltered area without venturing out, as lightning strikes to death here. But all buildings are lightning proof, including bus stops. 5, Shopping in Singapore is very very expensive. You can try Mustafa at Serangoon Road which is open 24/7 and always packed with tourists as well as locals. But its messy place. But I heard the electronic items there are priced relatively cheaper when compared to other outlets. But everything is in one roof there. 6, For south Indian there is Anjappar Chettinaad Restaurant at Race Course Road and thats the best south-Indian cusine in whole of Singapore. King of all south-Indian food I would say, the rest are all hopeless. Believe me, as experienced a lot, tongue-wise. And for north-Indian cuisine you may try D Delhi Pubb & Restaurant also located in the Race Course Road and I can say they are the best, though there are high end north-Indian ones in 5 star hotels like Holiday Inn and Pan Pacific. 7, Must see - nothing anything of that sort. All mostly is HDB. Lol! Housing Development Board flats, where the majority of the population lives. Suggest and strongly recommend you to go to Malaysia, KL. Kuala Lumpur rather than coming to Singapore, there is nothing here and so boring, so machine style, and people robotic, and all expensive man.

hey! welcome and i hope that you'll enjoy your stay in Singapore. i wont be asnwering the first 2 questions cuz im not sure of them myself. but i think the answers above would have already given you sufficient details (: 3. 10 days should be good, haha yeap! there are quite a few major attractions that you can visit and see. tourists love the sentosa island, and some locals do too. but i'd also recommend you to check out the gardens etc in singapore such as mount faber, hort park, the southern ridges, they are pretty nice! and if you're thinking more of animal stuff, go to the underwater world (it's in sentosa), or butterfly park or singapore zoo. you should check out the places like marina barrage, esplanade (just for the view) and esp. at night, go to the esplanade. you can also try out the river cruise, i think singapore looks really nice at night. other than that, i'd say go check out the ethnic quarters in singapore, like kampong glam, chinatown, little india, perakan experience. but if you're bringing your kids, have some fun at downtown east (tho it's a little expensive) or you can just head down t sentosa where there're many activities such as night safari. for more info, just check out the tourism website, i think there're more stuff to look at there (: 4. singapore's pretty hot and humid if you're not used to the kinda weather. i think middle east is hot but not humid, so just be prepared to perspire much in singapore. sometimes, it gets really rainy but yeap, it's either rain, shine or cloudy here in singapore. but i like it, haha. 5. about shopping! haha trust me, there are separate ares which offer reasonable shopping. don't spend all your shopping time in the town area/orchard road if you wanna shop more and cheap. try going down to the ethnic quarters (e.g. little india, kg. glam, chinatown, arab street) to shop. or you can always go to mustafa, like one answer has noted, it has everything under one roof. you can try tekka centre too! or best still, my favourite shopping place now is bugis street, it's cheap and it has alot of varieties, like you can get a top for just 10 bucks and those watches at 5bucks. don't just shop in the town area, cuz that's where it's mostly market price. you shld check out the street shopping, i believe it's cheaper and the best thing is you can bargain! haha yeap. 6. about the restaurants, i think they have quite a few here in singapore which seem to serve real good food (they were giving out flyers some time back). i think the above answer's given you some recommendation. apologies on my part cuz im not sure myself but what i'd recommend is for you to try out the hawker centre food here in singapore, like lau pa sat festival market, east coast seafood centre, glutton's bay at esplanade. they serve really good food, a variety and pretty affordable too! it's singaporean food yup! 7. oh, besides the details in (3), try out the flyer, i think it's cool. haha you can get a panoramic view of singapore in the flyer, but i'd suggest that you go for the night ride. it's more beautiful (: hope this helps!

It's such a great country. It's good value especially for jewelry. There are temples that are great to see. Amazing markets, very hot climate the whole year round. Very heavy rain. 10days is perfect. It's very tiny so you wouldnt want to be there for weeks.
