Going to Singapore for holiday, any tips?

  • I'm going to singapore for a 5 day holiday in Sept this year. It will be my first time there. Any tips or places to see?! Whats the best night clubs, food, shopping, site seeing places, etc Anyone who has been before from Australia would be great as well :) Thanks guys :)

    Im actually Singaporean, but I have migrated to Aussie before [: I would suggest Orchard Road (the typical) for shopping, Sentosa for a nice beach holiday, Chinatown to experience the culture, and there are also alot of other places that you can visit. here are some sites which provide information such as how to get to these places http://www.visitsingapore.com/ http://www.newasia-singapore.com/ http://www.stb.com.sg/ dont forget to pick up some brochures from the airport, im sure they will have plenty! enjoy your trip <3

Try to get yourself a copy of Singapore travel guide upon your arrival in Changi Airport. The guide is usually good enough for you to determine where you could start off your discovery of Singapore. Of course you will never go wrong with the popular tourist attractions such as the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari (Night Zoo), Singapore Bird Park, Sentosa Island, Singapore Flyer etc. As for the nightlife in Singapore, Clark Quay, Boat Quay, Robertson Quay and Holland Village are some happening places you wouldn't want to miss.

u can visit the aboved mention sites..very useful and informative..but heres an extra piece of info for u..some of our cabs/taxis has a small touch screen tv that provides tourists everything they need to know about singapore..nice place here..though the weather needs some getting use to..it can be very hot in the afternoon and raining in the evening..especially these few months
