I think you'd get only about 50 cents per book if they take them. Note that Sunny Bookshop at Far East Plaza doesn't buy them anymore. Do call to check that they'd buy and maybe the price before going down. If you don't mind spending some time in the sun, there's also the flea market close to Sungei Road on the weekends where you can try to sell them all. Otherwise, like someone else suggested, perhaps you can try selling them on eBay. For clothes, include details, e.g., "Made of 100% cotton", "Size M".
