How full are Universal Studios Singapore and Sentosa Island during weekends?

Where is the best place to swim & sunbathe in Singapore?

  • I travel to Singapore for business a few times a year. On the weekends, I like to swim and sunbathe. Usually it's at the Marriott on Orchard Road, by the pool, or down at Sentosa island beach, and using the pool bar at Cafe Del Mar. These are pretty good... but is there anywhere better? Swimming can be in the ocean or in a pool.

    Make some checking and explore the distant places like ...1) End of Changi Point, 2) Off to Ubin Island or a trip to the Southern Islands by ferry.

Your usual options sound perfect; in my opinion one would either go to Sentosa beach or the community pools island-wide where there are Olympic sized pool and some pool chairs for sunbathing.
