What are the best universities for studying social science?

• I have few queries regarding GRE and Studying Abroad Since you have some experience i need your help and want to clarify few things with you So let me list out my questions 1) My academic background is horrible with 17 arrears or backs totally though i cleared all with in 4 years with 69% overall Is it worth preparing hard ,giving the test and finally not getting any fruit for the above reason. wat are the chances that i get good universities/ at least Decent ones? 2) how should i prepare ?From where should i prepare what are the materials i need to study i heard maths section is easy but coming to verbal section wat are the stuffs u recommend? 3) which is the best time to give GRE ? i have bond with TCs till march 2010. so wat i m planning is give exam in AUG 2009 finish of all procedure visa etc if i get good university and join in next year thats 2010 whats your take on this? 4) regarding scholarship and financial need how much will i need to spend if i do not get scholarship? what are the chances of getting scholarship? 5)My ambition is to become software architect. Basically i m interested in UMl ,OOAD those stuffs Is there any separate stream for software design in Ms computer science Do u hav any idea what are the streams available under MS and what are the universities providing that stream As far as my knowledge there is Software engineering in MS Computer science Thats the Close i can get. also share your experince and comments thanks a lot for spending your precious time.
