First of all, congratulation for your upcoming marriage! As far as I know, Chinese New Year falls on February. Therefore, besides 1st of January, I don't think the prices will go up during your stay. Hmm, why didn't you want to go to Marina Bay Sands? There is a big shopping centre which was just opened recently and you can view the city at the top of the triple tower which is linked at the top. On top of that, I think you should fly to Kuala Lumpur to prevent loss of time on bus. Bus might take about a full day off your 10 days trip. For the Malaysia part, I don't know anything about it. Sorry :( Last but not least, hope you would have a successful honeymoon trip! :)
