VISIT VISA FOR SINGAPORE..! FOR NEAPLI CITIZEN?

  • I am writing this letter so that i can get some help regarding visit visa. My name is Lapendra Thapa and currently i am working in Malaysia, i have passport of Nepal and Identity Card too. As one of my childhood friend is in Singapore. Its being long time since we meet, so we thought to meet, but i don't have information about the documents which i may required to enter to Singapore. Sir, i went through your official website www.ica.gov.sg, but things are still not clear to me. My few question are as follows : 1. Is i need any visa to enter singapore as i am nepali citizen ? 2. Is i am eligible, as i have nepali passport and IC with me ? 3. which visa is most suitable for me to stay their for atleast one or two months ? 4. How much i have to spent to get that visa ? 5. Which other document may required during the journey or at the time to entry ? 6. Is it important to show the document which proves that i am working here in Malaysia ? 7. Is this possible to extend that visa if required and if yes then how much i have to pay ?

Hi, firstly, I'm not sure if any immigration officials check Yahoo Answers. As a Nepali citizen, you will not need a visa to visit Singapore according to the below 2 pages. http://www.ica.gov.sg/services_centre_overview.aspx?pageid=252 http://singapore.visahq.com/requirements/Nepal/ You will be given a 30 day social visit pass upon entry to Singapore. Most probably you won't need anything else other than your passport and what you need to show that you are working in Malaysia. Have a read of their entry requirements ( http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=95 ) If you think you need more info, feedback them for further information. ( http://www.ica.gov.sg/feedback.aspx?pageid=224&secid=1 ) I don't think you will be able to extend your social visit pass unless you have a compelling reason for them to allow you to, however since you're staying in Malaysia anyway, maybe you can consider making a few trips to Singapore since you don't have to worry about visa.
