What are the possible requirements as a tourist for Singapore?

What are the requirements in going to Singapore as a tourist?

  • I am going to Singapore with my sister and cousin this March 10 with two way ticket returning March 20 as tourists for a vacation. I am now in panic since my friends told me that we need an authenticated Invitation letter from someone I know in Singapore in which unfortunately we don't have. Is it true? Please enlighten.

ICA Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore Entry Requirements do not requirements any " Invitation letter " . i believe , you from Philippines , as Philippines Immigration at the airport always " demand for Invitation letter " ,before allow own citizen exit to other countries, maybe Philippines Immigration just want to make sure your are not try to work illegal in other countries. any way , " Invitation letter " , is nothings to do with Singapore. for you convenience , just ask you Singapore friends to send your " Invitation letter " to satisfy Philippines Immigration requirements , as i understand , some have been denied to exit from Philippines due to " with out Invitation letter ".

dude... Singapore isn't some protected country or whatever. That's probably just nonsense. Check if you require VISA to enter Singapore and your passport's expiry date. Since when did you need a letter to go overseas... ==
