Are children spoiled in Singapore?

Should Singapore, by law, require women to have at least 2 children?

  • Men are required to spend about 90% of their young adult life in the military because of the threat from Malaysia that doesn't exist. Women have NO expectations placed on them and spend all day being lazy and doing nothing and living off their parents. The only thing they are required to do is have children and according to the birth rate they don't even have children. Therefore, I believe the totalitarian Singaporean government should jail all women that refuse to have 2 children. Women in Singapore are some of the laziest and most self-entitled in the world. They work some of the shortest hours of any women, do not do anything productive and usually just steal their boyfriends money and spend it on vanity items If Singapore wants to become the greatest country in Asia the women will need to stop being a leach on society. Most Asian women from other countries (especially China) are hardworking, hold jobs, and still have children. Why can't women from Singapore?

What's wrong with you, posting all these questions under "Singapore"? Stop ranting! You have no statistics, no proof and make ridiculous sweeping statements. Young Singaporean men spend TWO years in the army and enter university two years after the women. (in fact, many of my male friends feel relieved that they aren't pressured to choose a course so quickly) The birth rate in Singapore is low because of the increasing cost of living and focus on their careers. And isn't having children a decision made by both the husband and wife? It's not like they can just have children whenever they want without taking so many things into consideration?
