What is the way to get Jobs in Singapore for Indians?

How do men in Singapore get jobs when they spend 10 years of their life in the army?

• Even after 2.5 years of NS they still go back to their unit for 2 months up till age 40. How can they hold a job while doing this? Also, I believe this is consistent proof that women are inferior in every way to men. Men still earn more than women even though they waste most of their life in the army. Women in Singapore spend most of their day buying jewelry and being lazy. However, most women worldwide are lazy and spoiled.

  It's tough. After 2 years of full-time NS (not 2.5), we look for a job or continue studying. And when we are working or studying, we must constantly be prepared to be called back to camp once every one/two years for exercises and operations for a period of ten years. Employers in Singapore have to be flexible about their employees going back to camp because NS is an important national security policy for Singapore. If we are Singaporeans then we have to make do with it. There's not much of a choice. We have been taught from young that we're small, vulnerable and lacking of natural resources and that is true. We don't have a big country and we only have one airport and seaport. You don't live here all your life so you don't know how easily it is for our neighbours to threaten us with something as basic as the water supply. And Singapore is not th eonly country with conscription. Other countries that have conscription are Taiwan, South Korea and Israel and you can guess why.
