  • Answer:

1 ) Foreigners getting difficultly to work in Singapore, as government review foreign manpower policy, try to cut drown foreign workforce . 2 ) if you are not professionals in some areas / with some specials technical skills and possess acceptable degrees / diploma from approved institutions with a minimum of five years relevant work experience , MOM Ministry of Manpower will not issue work pass to you. even you qualifications meet all the MOM requirement, for those job that Singaporean / PR able to handle well , MOM will not allow Foreigners to work. 3 ) Philippines Nation are not Approved source countries/territories for services sector > you unable to work as services crew in Singapore under work permit. SORRY. http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreign-manpower/passes-visas/work-permit-fw/before-you-apply/Pages/service-sector.aspx#approved Of course, you will not or may not believe me - you unable to get job in Singapore ,( based on you - 4 years experience as a service crew ) remember , searching Job in Singapore is WASTE you money and value time . estimated expenses to stay in Singapore for 30 day in SGD > Budget Hotel ( decent area ) between 50 to 70 for one day . ( take as 1800 for 30 day ) . or you may get some short terms room rental for about 500 . daily foods - simple meal 20 / 25 .for a day . transport - MRT ( train ) and bus. up to 6 for a day. Sorry to said - try not to waste such money .

I would think that you would need at least $1500,and that is going to be spent mostly on lodging, Food at hawker stalls can be very reasonable, but still be prepared for a supper meal to be at least 4$. Transport is reasonable, but the first card you buy will be $15, and then you have to top that up to keep using it. Contact an employment agency, and see what they say. Most international workers have jobs before they get to destination.
