Can I bring my hamster to Singapore?

  • I'm moving from Malaysia to Singapore next week & I want to bring my hamster along. I can't go by plane because I read that altitude can kill a hamster So I'm going by car. It's a 4 hour drive but Hammie will be okay. What I'm concerned is that the singapore customs won't allow me to bring Hammie into singapore. Does he need to be quarantined? Hamsters!! I know that dogs and cats need to be quarantined but do hamsters??? I don't want my hammy to be stuck in his cage for 4 weeks!!! Pls help! I'm loyal and i won't throw hammie way and get another one when I'm in Singapore. Pls help! :'(

    Go to Malaysian Air Line Cargo. They can help you solve your problem and if you say you have 1 week, may be they can do something where you hammie will be at your door step when you arrive. Get you hammie prescribe its' health at the certified animal doctor for the purpose of travelling. Good luck.
