You can deinitely takeyour A level privately, and if you get good enough result of course the universities will accept you. What I would suggest is you go online and research the course you want to take in university and see the qualification eg subjects you need to pass in order to get into the course. From there it is easier for you to choose which subject to ake for you A level and focus on those subjects... good luck!

You should be apply to take the A-Levels privately. MOE will generally start advertising at MRT stations when its time for registration(beginning-mid year). The University only requires you to submit your A-Level results, so they shouldn't reject you based on the fact that you quit 4 years ago. However, if an interview is required(even courses that don't normally need interviews will require one if there are many applicants), they may ask you about your secondary school and O-Level results etc. Whether they choose to accept or reject you based on that can depend. Some may feel that its great you decided to take up your studies again, while others may dwell on the fact that you quit. But I definately think you should take your A-Levels if you can. However, if you don't qualify to take the A-Levels, you can consider the SATs. There is not only the reasoning test, but also subject tests so you can choose the subjects to take. The fee is approximately that of the A-Levels, and any university will accept that as a valid qualification.

Yes you can. As long as you qualify for uni, no reason for them not to accept you. Of course you will be much older than most of your classmates.

Yes you can. No problem at all. Which Uni do you want to get into? NUS? NTU? SMU? Generally, you should not worry that much about your quitting school... Cuz the uni's just grade you according to your results. So, study hard, and good luck!
