Do not worry about the price of gold in US, they are accepted worldwide as the current price. Just convert the USD to SGD to find the gold price in SGD. The current rate is about USD1 to SGD1.40 -SGD1.50. By the way, my dad told me that SGX also have paper contracts for gold prices or you can call any Bank in Singapore.
