  • my mom sent me a package from the philippine post office to usa post office did not give her confirmation or tracking # what should i do? i tried to call international post office for help but they said they cannot do anything without confirmation or tracking # from my mom..

  • Answer:

How long has it been since she sent the package? It could take up to a month or more to get there. Sometimes I wait 2 weeks for mail from Manila to Leyte. & 1 time it took 2 weeks to go from Leyte to Cebu City a boat trip of 2-5 hours! So just be patient.

You wont receive a tracking number when using standard postal service generally. It can take quite a while to send or receive packages to or from the Philippines. I have sent several packages to the Philippines in the past. It can take as long as four months for the package to reach it's destination. Unfortunately, the slow down occurs on Philippine soil. It only takes about a week for a package to arrive in the Philippines. The only thing you can do is be patient and wait. Shipping using Fex Ex is much quicker but also much more expensive. A package shipped using Fed Ex will arrive in about a week.
