What are the cheapest airlines in the US?

What are the cheapest airlines from Manila, Philippines, to Los Angeles, California?

  • It doesn't matter where I sit or whether or not there are connecting flights. I would just like to know which airlines are the cheapest to get from here (Manila) to there (LAX). I'm looking at the month of March 2012. :)

    SIR! =)) Delta Airlines (Stops in Tokyo Narita or in Nagoya, not sure) and EVA Air (Stops in Taipei). I suggest you wait for the February Travel Tour Expo. They have the cheapest fares there. PAL is always expensive. For EVA air flights, It is cheaper to book thru travel agency. Booking online and directly at the reservations here in manila sometimes are more expensive. Hawaiian Airlines which stops in Honolulu can also be an option, same with EVA air, thru travel agent also. For me, I prefer EVA Air. I heard they have good quality of service and they have inflight entertainment system. so you wont get bored in a 12 hour flight.

what you do is go on booking buddy or some such flight and then type in your departure and arrival destination, then clack in dates and check one way or round trip . . and a host of search engines will deliver you the cheapest fares out there. . . it makes no sense asking what the cheapest airline is as rates and promotions and prices change and it also depends what day of the week you fly etc. Good Luck

Phillipine air lines flight pr 102 is 902 usd, you can go to pal website and often get this rate a day or 2 prior toy travel..it is the best last min rate if you don't want to go through tokoyo or seoul or some other short connection time flight

Go to kayak.com and enter in the dates there. It will scour the whole Internet looking for the best deals :)

One way from MNL to LAX or RT? Will you buy the ticket in LA? If so go to one of the LA Asian airline ticket consolidators and ask for the lowest priced ticket prices be Flexible with your dates for the very lowest price. March is low season but avoid the very end of March as that is the start of high season for Holy Week. Easter is April 8th two or more weeks around that date are expensive tickets. James makes a good point KAL is often the cheapest but prices change by the hour.
