How much would it cost for a week trip to brazil?

How much will a 2 week trip to the phillippines cost?

  • I'm going to surprise my friend with a trip to the phillippines so I want to work out expenses before-hand. So I have a few questions: 1. what's a rough estimate of how much the plane tickets will cost for 2 adults? We're flying from the US 2. Our stay will be around 2 weeks. What is the best time to go and how much money will we need during this stay? 3. She has family and extended relatives there. is it better to stay with them or to find a hotel? 4. Overall how much money will it cost for this trip? Thanks for the help and any other extra info you can provide is greatly appreciated! :D

Hi, first, I hope you enjoy your (first?) trip to the Philippines. It's a wonderful country. 1. Although I do not travel back and forth from the Philippines to the states (I live here full time), I know a number of people who travel to the Philippines. I would suggest, as much as it pains me to say this, Korean Air. I have heard they have good pricing. 2. I would suggest coming here anytime after January, for cheaper airline tickets. June to November is usually the "low season" here, but rightfully so. It is also our rainy season. The cost for your trip is going to depend on a number of things that you should keep in mind: A. Where in the Philippines you will be going. Manila is more expensive than Cebu, and Cebu is typically more expensive than Davao. These are the three major cities in the country. B. What sort of accommodations you would like to stay in, while here. Do you want a 5 star hotel, or can you reside in a pension house (another name for a cheaper hotel, but not necessarily a ratty one.) C. How much traveling you wish to do while in country. (I would strongly suggest you try to see as much of the area that you can, while here, especially if you have no idea when you are coming back, if ever.) 3. Hmm. This depends on you, specifically. She is, obviously a Filipina. You, being the westerner, in my opinion, should consider what you need as the minimum needs for you. Air-con room? If she comes from a poor family here, most likely they will not have air-con in their home. So, the heat will probably be a bit much for you. However, if you feel as though you can take it, I would say go for it, and stay with the family. It will be an experience you will have never seen in the US. 4. There again, a difficult question to ask. If you are here on holiday but wish to be moderate on spending, you could go through $100 to $150 USD per day. I have lived here full time, and can live here for a month on $1,500 or less, easily. A LOT less if necessary. I think KD may be a bit high on his/her suggestion of $3,500 USD. 5. See my answer to question number 1. Additional: I am originally from Savannah, Georgia. If you have any other personal questions you would like to ask about the country, please feel free to call me, anytime. I have a number based out of Savannah: 912-228-3385

Flights are Okay: you can choose between Delta Airways, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways all three are good generally but if I like Cathay Pacific... (My favorite Airlines in world are Emirates, Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Kingfisher Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Etihad Airways, Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines)
