How would you eradicate the corruption that is rampant in the country?

We are always blaming the politicians. But a lot of people play a role in corruption from the common person to the highest official. How to eradicate this? None should be above and beyond the law. I have no words how to elaborate but I waited a long time for us Filipinos to rise from mediocrity. When 1986 happened, someone from Hong Kong told me that we had to wait for progress to come since it takes time before order is restored. It has been more than 20 years and people seem to be more corrupt than ever, more non law abiding than ever. They also had to change. Hopefully, the new government of 2010 will make a change? Inspire the people? Why would we want to compare to it daydreaming 2012?

The country is desperately poor, there must be reasons for it.It does not have oil or gas maybe, but Thailand and Vietnam have no gas or oil Otherr and yet they are doing better. The work ethic in the Philippines is not strong. The need for a fiesta is paramount in this people to the point of spending money for thegrand mama's's birthday whereas other more pressing needs are left behind. One way to progress is to make sacrifices for your children.You must elevate them with education so that they can start life equipped as best as possible Yet many filipino fathers are content if they have their beer and cigarette money and a girlfriend. Many mothers are quite happy with a boyfriend abroad without the plight of their children to be her dominant thought. The filipinos are charming and a delight to be with, with their sense of music and dance and merry making.I love them but they must change their priorities . Work hard and sacrifice for the children. Corruption? Well, it goes hand in hand with poverty and the need for a quick fix with as little work as possible. (The latter being the prevalent trait of the filipino people unfortunately ) Corruption is a direct result of the psyche of the nation

U have corrupted English. Dat is de first place to begin en so u must fix je grammar. In fact, English is corrupted itself. Don't u agree? Who cares. Secondly, corruption will be resolved if u comply with international law. Dit is obvious. Do not think dat de man of international law is Ferdinand Marcos. Thirdly, do not think international law depends op de Filipino language. Sometimes, speaking a language encompassed by international law (English) determines matters more efficiently. Otherwise, waar does je word Corrupt come from, en waar does it apply if je do not recognize international law? corruption will NOT be eliminated until such time as the government gets serious . Re-instate the death penalty , apply this to the corrupt and advertise these actions on country wide tv . This has proven to be effective in some countries , when nothing else worked

Anyone who offers a Gift in any form for a certain transaction in private or in government transaction should be punished .
