Where should I start in breakdancing?

Baguio City, PH; The best place to start Breakdancing/bboying?

  • I'm a HS student and I got interested in bboying a few months ago. I learned how to Babyfreeze, 6-step and in the process of learning a handglide for the windmill. I started to get tired of having YouTube and websites as my mentor, so I'm wondering if there's any nice bboys/girls out there who want to help a noob. And who can recommend a good place to practice since my house is pretty small for breakdancing. and school isn't such a good idea since we wear uniforms (skirts. Ew.)

  • Answer:

try your local YMCA; or local big brother program ask for a break-dance teacher. there are people out there that still do it. i can break dance, we used to go to balboa park in San Diego ca; just have a blast. we used to learn moves and teach each other. we sometimes made money when tourist's were in town. you might even want to try asking your coach in school to see if they might know of someone who is do doing it in your area.
