Cebu CIty Philippine Post Office has bad service? Why?

• Hello guys, I just bought something online from Ebay, to be shipped from U.S.A to Philippines, packed in a Flat rate envelope via USPS EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL which they claim to take just 3-5 days. My experience is it took 8 days, and instead of usually delivering it tomy house, they didnt and instead the tracking said I should pick it up? So I picked it up coz I thought I had to pay something like customs taxes but there was none at all.. I have tried USPS EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL before and they delivered it straight to my door, 3 weeks later after I CALLED AND FOUND OUT MY STUFF was just ignored in the post office. USPS EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL flat rate envelope has a written "extremely urgent, please rush to addressee... So why come the post office here in Cebu City completely ignores it. Not to mention their Phone is always busy everyday from 8am to 5pm..

  Not only Cebu city PO has bad services in the Philippines, if you happen to check out other mail services in the Philippines you will find out YOU ARE NOT ALONE on this. I myself is not surprised reading your question here. Let me remind you again, you are in the PHILIPPINES not in Thailand or Singapore or even in Australia. If you feel you are aggrieve then wrote the GM or the general manager of the post office in Cebu city about your complaint with the your receipt of your package and the delay it went through and the effort that you put in to get that package of yours. And of course the written note of the package or envelope which read "extremely urgent, please rush to the addressee or die trying......" And take this to the BMPM of ABS-CBN newsreport and tell them about how worst the Cebu city post office services are, maybe the GM of the post office will make up when they saw their post office is being aired on live tv. It is time to wake these people up with your letter and the tv exposure.
