A question about time and the refractive index?

What would you do if you answered a question and the best answer is like these?

  • What would you do if you answered a question and the best answer is like these? Please click or copy/paste on your browser the following: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;%E2%80%A6 http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;%E2%80%A6 You spent time and effort to give the correct information to the question, and then the question goes into voting, and you found out later that the best answer chosen is irrelevant or does not answer the question at all. And you know what happens when it goes into voting. Would you: 1) Refrain from answering anymore question at Yahoo Answers and spend your time instead on other things? 2) Refrain from answering the questions of the specific asker and other askers who let their questions go into voting? 3) Vote as Best Answer your own answer? 4) Create as many Yahoo accounts to be used for voting for your answers? 5) Feeling bad about the Yahoo system for not putting as a rule and not requiring the Asker to decide and pick the Best Answer, instead of letting it go to voting? 5) Not mind at all and accept that this is as part of the game at Yahoo Answer? My first reaction is just to refrain from answering the questions of those perennial and notorious for letting their questions lapsed into voting. But lately, instead of worrying and damning the Asker, I just let go and continue to contribute my knowledge and help those legitimate Askers who need the answers.

  • Answer:

Definitely 5 Don't worry about other people not following through, you don't even know them. But if it's really giving you grief then maybe you should stop, it's really not worth it - it's just yahoo answers. If you like to share your knowledge, then keep going, the genuine askers will appreciate you. Your scores and percentages really don't mean anything in the great scheme of things but if it means that much to you, and it would make you really happy to 'win', then sure, go to all the trouble of creating new accounts and vote for yourself. I wouldn't, but I don't care, I just come on here to give answers (genuine ones) while I wind down from work before I go to sleep. You don't need to put yourself under all that pressure, just enjoy yourself. :-)

go with your 1st reaction. inis talo panero is the name of the game. if inis ka pa rin, eh wag ka nang pumasok sa yahoo answers. kasi pinoproblema mo ang di dapat problemahin. but if u have enough dough and is bored **** with your life, then continue worrying about trivial matters, develop wrinkles and bad skin in the process and then go to belo for a miracle. at least, makikinabang pa sa iyo si hayden.

blah blah

making too much out of it

that's the part of the game!, you may win some you may loose some, some people are smart (*ahem*, like us), and some people are just plain useless imbeciles!, (*need i to mention more?*),hehehe but anyway...THAT'S ALSO THE PART OF LIFE WE ARE NOW FACING IN...sometimes we face disappointments and despairs, but it will come to pass, and someday somehow you will be thankful that you were disappointed on that "fateful" day....you see that's the part of the learning process, we experienced, we conditioned, we learned!...hence yahoo answers has this motto REAL QUESTIONS REAL ANSWERS REAL PEOPLE! thats the fact! pabayaan mo lang mga iyun (askers) matatauhan ren!, you know what? i used to send my questions to voting...but sometimes i f*****ingly hate the voters on what they had been choosing the best answers...

The worse be completing the response and hit the send,..and, the notice: this question was deleted,..or, the system is down,..try later,..Only later the system drops your response,..and, same does not get posted,.. I try saving same on the desktop,..But,..the response may still get dropped,. The only thing,..be patient,..It could be beyond yahoo's control. Merely, go on as if nothing unusual happened,.. Couldn't open the links provided. My reaction is a combination of 3 and 6 with a smidgen of 5. I contemplated 4 at one stage but fortunately came to my senses and let it go. These people who have numerous voting accounts are only fooling themselves into thinking that they have all the answers. Even if they amass 1,000,000 points they cannot use them for anything! Let it go and just continue with your contributions.
