If you can create or invent a thing in the Philippines what will it be?

  • This idea was conceptualize when I recently seen the movie of Rowan Atkinson "Johnny English reborn" that if a certain drug can controlled or manipulate an individual mind to kill without remorse why not a herbal plant that can make an individual tell the truth. It is like a "truth serum" but this one you have to drink it just like in the movie, no injection or gas vapor to administer it. Very timely as I say it because in the Philippines most people under oath are lying. We have so many personality in the Philippines that when they are in the witness stand or in the Senate blue ribbon committee they will tell the senators that they do not know, or started to feel ill or fainted because of the manner the question is being raised toward them. Some are being rush to the senate clinics because of the high blood pressure or could just faking things just to buy time. An extract from a herbal plant that can subside the mind defensive mechanism and bring out the real motive or feelings of the person. Is there such thing? Well there is one way to find out by research through science I suppose. But this is not a drug or with chemical additive. All we need is a law that will require all under oath to take the extract because knowing the Filipino mentality they will say it is against their human rights isn't it? If you have nothing to hide why be scared to take it but for those who have some hidden agenda that is where the problem is. This way, we can make things NOT too much frustrating like for example if Gloria Arroyo is under oath and took the extract, and was asked if she cheated in the 2004 presidential election, and she will simply say "yes...I cheated the result of the election together with some commissioners". His own husband was asked if he own the helicopter that was sold brand new for the PNP in 2009. He answered positive and admit the guilty. We are practically making things a little bit less frustrating for the average Filipinos. An extract that can take effect within 10 to 15 minutes not too much I suppose waiting time for a person under oath to take the stand in court. As in the song of Billy Joel "honesty is such a lonely word" in the Philippines. But with such extract we can do away with liers and cheaters in the Philippines. What do you think? Will it work in the Philippines environment scenarios?

If I could create anything, I would create an ECO-friendly energy source that never runs out and is easy to harness. That way, the country (and the world) won't have to use fossil fuels. Also, instead of a truth serum, perhaps I'd create a truth chair. People sit in it and they'd get asked questions. If they lie in their answer, the chair will emit a very mild electric jolt or something (nothing that would seriously harm the person sitting in the chair).

regarding PGMA, it is the rule of the land, that no one should self jeopardize oneself and the accuser carries the burden of the proof. Even if there are truth serum required by those taking oaths in court, there should be still amble solid evidence of a crime. For instance, if I admitted that I killed someone, then I should show where the body is if it is missing. And the law states that when there is no cadaver, there is no proof of death. I am not pro GMA, I am pro justice, if there are ample evidences, there is no need for witnesses as the accused can also produce their own witnesses and claim innocent of the charges. I have something in mind but would prove unconstitutional, that is applying in the water consumption of the public or those targeted areas some herbs that they would have less children because they have no sexual urge to do it. If there is a viagra , there is also a counterpart. I hear that the lowly water hyacinth(wrongly depicted by the media as water lily) is an anaphrodisiac and we have abundance of it.

I'm not sure what I would invent but I'd prefer it to be something that the world could use. Probably something like electronics or some kind of special pc software. But I would base it in the Phils, it's headquarters and all the factories would be there so that people would be able to get to work.
