In your experience, how will you describe Filipino hospitality at its best?

Answer:
Filipinos would prepare delicious food when they have visitors, even though they don't have enough money for eating tasty food for themselves, they will do anything just to buy something mouthwatering meals for their guests... Filipinos would clean their houses to look elegant before they let in their visitors...(ethically, you should call your host before going to their house) In a room, an average Filipino family would let their guests have an electric fan, TV, and others to make their guests feel at home and comfortable... In every time of eating in their house, they wouldn't let the guests set up the table, nor wash the dishes... they want their guests to be treated royalty-like... and many more...

Filipinos go that extra mile to make you feel at home when you visit them. They would let you stay in the most comfortable room (if staying overnight), they bring out the best china (if staying for dinner), they re-arrange their routine so they can show you around town, they introduce you to their friends/relatives, etc., etc. It's like a royal celebration at their house and you are the honored guest. That is hospitality at its very best. And only the Pinoys can do it so well!

I have been there and experience their hospitality. There is a lot to be desired from the Filipino. My experience was great. I was taken in by a friends family and was treated as such. I was introduced to others as one of their friends. It was a great feeling to be amoungs those who care about making a good impression of their country. It prides me to say that I have Filipino friends.

If you're a guest in a Filipino house with one room, the whole family would sleep in the sala so you could sleep comfortably in the bedroom..would other races do that for you?

Filipinos are very exciting people and even the men are great and take after Americans in many ways.. One guy over there looks like Charles Bronson, Another, Cheech. The problem is you have to figure an angle to make money.. If you don't what is there to do there? Most people's experience is they go there, bring lots of money, spend it, had a good time... My experience I went there semi-broke and still had a good time, albeit bittersweet.. I saw some hungry children begging in Ermita, and a couple came up and gave them, not money, but a few bread rolls to eat. That was touching.

Me visiting with maraming luggage and when I got off the jeepney, all my bayaws and titos not letting me carry any of it throughout my stay. Then having all meals ready at a certain time and no one eating until me and my mahal had sat to eat. This may sound boastful to outsiders, but it is the way it is, and that respect and style is second to none. Of all the places on earth to go on vaction now, I will go to the Philippines and visit aking pamilya.

World class and second to none. Filippinos are among the friendliest and most hospitable people in the world. I spent 23 years in the USN and have been all around the world many times. I can't think of anyplace else that can evan compare with the friendly and hospitable people of the Philippines.

its almost like a mother's love... unconditional! because no matter how hard it is to budget and scrimp your meager salary just to able to get through until the next one it is always like a party when you have guests with you... Filipinos try to make their guests as comfortable as they can even if it would be hard for them when the guests leave... the best tour guides too, with great stories, intermission numbers, exotic food trips and the works! even if you dont know them they try to speak english or make sign languages just to be able to answer your questions if its in another country they would not put that much effort or just ignore you... I MUST SAY ITS ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES!
