    In business, problem creates an opportunity to innovate, and to sell ideas and new products. 3M for instance, was able to develop the Post It notes when one of its executives had a problem marking the page of a church songbook/hymnal. He thought of a paper that will stick to a surface without damaging it. Problem--> weak (rejected) adhesive + paper --> post-it notes On a personal side, it's an opportunity for an individual to learn, to grow and strengthen ones self. We learn more about ourselves, such as our strengths and limitations, when we face problems and attempt to solve it. It helps us to develop our coping mechanism and ones we are able to overcome the problem, we become a stronger person.
