It will work but remember this---you MUST take your own aerial connection and cord and if you want good reception or your own aerial for the roof. Why? I have discovered over the years that even portable tv antennas there have a smaller pin and they are useless on tvs not made for the Philippines market. When you plug the aerial /antenna lead into the tv from O/S the pin is too thin, it fits the slot but does not fully insert itself and the reception is crap. So, I send a set of rabbit ears or last tv I sent I went to a camping store and sent a caravan antenna , small and compact but great reception. So, yeah, no probs the tv working, just make sure you take the right leads for the aerial.

yes friend it will work in the philippines, my neighbour just buy 1 From london uk and bring it back home to cagayandeoro, it works fine, but you will have to fit a new plug for electrical connection or just buy an adapter (p40) the aerial connector is different also ? but if your using cable tv IE para sat you can Connect via leads from the box, its cheaper to buy in uk but you have to think of courier cost's, my friend bring hers on the flight as check in luggage ? maybe free if you don't have many clothes and other gifts !

No, I'm from Belgium and I thought of doing that sometime in 2008. The vendor says that European TVs work only in Europe, since the mechanism inside was blocked for those countries. If you know someone whose technician ask him to unblock that particular piece then the TV will work. I know you want to bring 3HD flat screen but find out first before you do otherwise it's just a waste of money. I know as well that the 3HD is cheaper in Europe than in the Philippines but if you cannot use it then useless to bring along.
