My former boss at my job here in Texas always talked about his years at a Call Center. He loved it. I think there is a lot about that job that certain people really like. Some people are "night owls" and enjoy working late hours. Some people like dealing with a variety of different people, never knowing who will be the next caller. The pay certainly is good, whether in Texas or Philippines. It is rapidly becoming the case here in the US that any tolerable job one has is worthy of praise.

Your outlook of life compare to theirs is visibly not the same. If someone works in call center being proud of it, you should congratulate them instead of criticizing them. If they work in call center because that's the job they are doing. They cannot say they are working in Malacanang Palace if their work is in SM could they? Now if they are graduate and finish bachelor of something but there's nothing else but call center would you rather sit and wait for the time to pass? Like those girls who'd rather sit than being a maid, but never went to school and finish something, dreaming to work in offices, but because they dont acceed to such an illusion then they wait while picking lice on the head of their neighbour. Being an idle is more fun in the Philippines. Don't fly too high, it hurts bad if you fall. Don't fart higher than your a---ss. Let dreams to those whose asleep, daydreams are for those people who never had ambition in life. Hope this is not you.
