How old do i have to be to work legally?

How can i live and work legally in Nepal?

  • I first fell in love with the beautiful country of Nepal two years ago aged 19 when i volunteered in a village near Kathmandu. I also volunteered last year for 2 months living in New Baneshwor. During my time in Nepal i grew to love the people, culture because it was so very different to my own culture. I am a very spiritual person so living in a Hindu/buddhist country was just perfect for me. I met so many many friends and developed long lasting relationships with a few close friends. But i am now back in my own country due to financial problems. I plan to return to Nepal in August 2011 but i do not want to go as a tourist. My friend has said i can live in his room and i can pay him rent so i would have somewhere to stay. I will then try and find work in Kathmandu. I know most jobs for foreigners is work with NGO's. I don't have a degree or anything but i do have experience of nepali life and volunteering. I also have retail, sales, office experience. Please, tell me how i can legally live in Nepal without a tourist visa. I have read many answers where people say that if you stay in Nepal for 15 years then you can become a citizen.... How exactly can i live there legally for 15 years???? Please i just want to come home as Nepal is my home now and i miss it and all of my nepali friends.

ya u have to live up to 15 year's to be the citizen of nepal according to the government rules. may get marry with a nepali girl and try to process for nepales citizenship. and thanks for loving nepal.

another option is marry a nepali girl can get a nepalese citizen but it was quite difficult other option is not in my mind...heheh thanks.......thanks for loving the nepal...welcome to nepal.......
