  You need to get the correct type of fish .. normally I use ikan tenggiri ... make sure the fish you bought is fresh ... tis is important ... the steps are as below: - 1. Cut the fish in fillet 2. Remove the fillet meat from the skin by scraping it iff with a spoon 3. With only the meat now, mix in suitable amount of salt ... you can put in a bit of Ajinomoto but I think the sweetness of a fresh fish is better 4. Also put in a bit of corn starch to give the meatball a springy texture ... don't put in too much ... nanti become as hard as golf ball ... can throw at the dogs .. lol 5. If you like it to be spicy a bit or you want to dislike the fishy smell, you can add in white pepper 6. If the mixture is difficult to mix, add a little bit of water at a time especially when mixing in the corn starch 7. After that, divide your mixture into suitable sizes of fish ball by scraping off some portion and rolling it into a ball between your two palms ... some like it big, so they make mega big fish ball ... something like as big as the golf ball !!! But I like the normall size ball ... 8. You can add some variety by adding some chopped 'daun bawang' or sotong to your fish ball ... everybody can cook, right ?
