Are there possibilities to use the DISHTV in Malaysia?

What card shall I use in Malaysia for traveling?

  • If Singapore has Eazy Card, what is the similar card in Malaysia? I plan to stay in Malaysia for 2 days only, yet want to travel as flexible as when I travel in S'pore with Eazy Card... Please kindly advise what kind of card should I use in Malaysia?

  • Answer:

Remember that in Malaysia, should you call a 'bus company and ask what time the 'bus leaves for "wherever", they answer "what time can you get here?". And if you ask a cab driver to take you to KLCC, he'll answer "Going to Puchong-la" Another tip is that Malaysian restaurant menus should only be regarded as an indication of what food "might" sometimes be available. Most of the choices will be "off today". Uncertainty being the spice of life.

Your Eazylink card can be used for all mode of transports and even pay your mcdonald etc. Thats cool but sadly we dont have the equivalent in Malaysia, reason is bcoz our transportation services are not centralized nor organised. The only one i can think of is TOUCH N GO card. Though its not even close to your eazylink. It can be used on Putra LRT, Plus highways but not for paying bus fare.

Visa or Mastercard are accepted everywhere in Malaysia. Be careful with Amex not liked at some hotels.
