By right, a citizen of of any ASEAN countries travelling through ASEAN do not need a visa if travel as bona fide tourist entering and departing a country at designated immigrations checkpoints. Otherwise you will have to have a visa other than bona fide tourist. Since you're to enter Singapore through JB/Woodlands checkpoints, Singapore immigrations might ask you your return flight ticket,if any or your departure date.
