Hungry Ghost Festival in KL?

• I'm looking for performances or unique things to see in Kuala Lumpur during Hungry Ghost Festival this year (2009). Have I missed it? What are the dates? Are there any events/performances that would be appropriate for a tourist? I'm very respectful when attending religiously inclined events, but would love to experience some of the festival, if that is possible. What would you recommend? Thank you in advance!

  yes u can have a look , at that festivals it will have dancing and performance and many food serve to the ghost as respect and soemmore they will burn many joss paper for the ghost like hell banknotes and paper car ,bungalow and servant is a big festivals ,don';t miss ii someore it will have taoist priest and Buddhiist to chant for the dead as they can rest in peace and nearly every taiost and buddhist familly will also serve some food candles josstick on that day at night. is chinese lunar calender July 14 means Western calender Sep 2. hope u enjoy it
