But STPM is very tough, not sure I can handle it, so based on my result, think i am eligible for it?Also, for my actual result, the A2 is grade for moral studies, and as its one of the core subjects, I'm not sure I am eligible for some scholarship...pls help....suggest some good scholarship for pre-u and a guide towards medicine??

Answer:
Have you heard of Kuok Foundation Berhad? Check out their website at http://www.kuokfoundation.com/about_intro.html If you are not interested in doing STPM, you can apply for Study Grants / Half-loan Half-grants to study Diploma / Certificate courses at our local/ Singapore Polytechnics. Check their FAQs tab. I wish you success in applying for their scholarship/ study grants/ loan, etc. Tips: Do dress smartly/ nicely when going for that interview. No torn jean, multi-coloured T, sandals, etc. :D

the girl above me is suffering from metal disorder, that is why we need you to be a doctor. By the way are you a bumi? If you are not then it is quite difficult to get a place in local U, whatever it is just finish your STPM first and hope for the best, if your parents can afford go to india, it is among the cheapest

Muhamma. You have every right to question beliefs and ponder about the "truth", and the false arabic Rowan Atkinson has far less right to accuse you of being mentally unstable, but I don't see the relevance to the question! To answer the questioner. You seem reluctant to go for STPM because (your words) it's very tough. If your plans are a career in medicine, then believe me, the STPM will be a cakewalk compared to what follows.

Wow!! 10 A's. Congrat!!!!!!! Way to go!!! Wished i was that smart. Always wanted to be a Doctor. Have you consider going overseas? After all it is not as expensive as it used to be, if you have friends to stay with that would bring down your expense even further. Oversea is the option for you.

You also can take A-Level first or any pre-U. Some popular country that offer medic course other than UK are India, Jogja (Indonesia), India & Egypt. Find info how previous student can get there

Dont worry about NS.. Your results qualify you for medicine. Go for it.. Dont worry about scholarships, you can apply for loan too.. Try UPU(UM, USM, UKM, all accepts non-bumi students), if you dont get medicine, you can apply for private varsities like CUCMS, IMU and other private uni(quite difficult financially, but try loan).. I dont suggest you take STPM... Whatever you do, if u wanna take medicine, dont go to IIUM, since they changed the policy there.. If it was 2 years back, I would have endorsed you to apply for all the courses available at IIUM, coz when you get there, if u do well, u can easily change course to medic, but now, non-bumis cant do any critical course there (which is not good for the uni, they even have to accept students with pointer 3.3 to fill up the quota for medic students).. So, yeah.. I am currently a student at the foundation center of IIUM, I skipped like 3 years of school, and if NS wants to come for me, I can always tell them I am studying(albeit you have to write letter for NS excuse, which of course, they will postpone your session), but if u go to certain unis, they will ask you to get a study leave.. Oh, if u wanna take STPM, go for A levels, thats better(easier, more practical) So there, all the best!
