My proposal. If you are travelling on Malaysia Airlilnes ( MAS ), take the Delhi-KL-Langkawi-KL-Delhi route. If you are travelling on other airlines, take the Delhi-KL-Delhi route and at the same time book the KL-Langkawi-KL flight with AirAsia ( http://www.airasia.com ) Day 1 - Arrival at KLIA ( preferably morning ). If you flying on MAS, you may take your connecting flight to Langkawi from the same terminal. If you taking an AirAsia flight to Langkawi, you have to take a free airport coach from KLIA to LCCT (Low Cost Carrier Terminal). 10 minutes bus ride from KLIA Day 2-3 Spend your time in Langkawi ( http://www.langkawi-info.com ). Langkawi is a world renowned beach resort. The white sandy beaches and crystal clear sea water provide you a perfect romantic backdrop for your honeymoon. Many locals and foreigners alike go to Langkawi for their honeymoon. Day 4 Return to Kuala Lumpur. Take a bus to the popular hill resort of Genting Highland ( http://www.genting.com.my ). Enjoy cool and fresh air up there. Day 5-Day 6. Go around Kuala Lumpur for sightseeing. Places recommended are KLCC, KLTower ( for bird's eye view of Kuala Lumpur ), Bukit Bintang ( shopping and entertainment ), Central Market ( souveniers shopping ), KLBird Park ( http://www.klbirdpark.com ), Merdeka Square, Batu Caves ( hindu temple - http://www.malaysiasite.nl/batucaveseng.htm ) and Sunway Lagoon ( http://www.sunway.com.my/lagoon ). To travel within Kuala Lumpur city centre, you have 3 options. Taxi - not recommended as tourists are often fleeced by irresponsible drivers. LRT - highly recommended ( fast, cheap and convenient - http://www.putralrt.com.my ) and the last option is by public bus - http://www.rapidkl.com.my ). Day 7 - Depending on the time of your departure, you can either just rest and stroll around KL to glimpse the daily ongoings of people in KL. If your flight is in the evening, perhaps you may want to go to Putrajaya for some sight seeing. Putrajaya is the new administrative capital of Malaysia ( more for some photo snappings, unique buildings, lakes ). Putrajaya is only 20 minutes away from KLIA. For food - you'll have no problem. There are many vegetarian restaurants around. Almost all Indian restaurants ( even if they are non-vegetarian ) have full vegetarians fares in their menu. Month of July - Hot. Being a tropical country, Malaysia is hot throughout the year. Only in the end and beginning of the year, it is slightly cooler due to rainy season. Enjoy your honeymoon and welcome to Malaysia
