I got a offer of a .net developer job in Malaysia. How much salary should I demand for this job to live luxurious life there?(I have 10 years experience in IT & I am living nice life in India so I am asking this) What is a good salary for a .net developer to live luxury life in Malaysia with a family of 2 no kids? what will be cost of all regular expenditures,Rent,utility bills, eating outs & tours? what is a RENT of a furnished apartment in good locality? (please name some nice localities too if possible) how much can a person save there? I want to save minimum of Indian Rs.50k, If I get this job.

Basically, if you can get a salary around RM8000, then you're secure. I listed some of the normal expenses (single basis) here: 1. McD RM12.00 2. TGI Friday RM50.00 3. Nike shoes RM200 to RM699 4. Levi's jeans RM169 to RM500 5. Condo rental RM1600 to RM5000 6. Petrol price RM1.85/litre Anyway, all these subject to change. I can't help you in the .net developer expected salary as I am not in the relevant field. You can try to rent a condo in Mont Kiara or Sri Hartamas, both are my dream living area. A lot of Japanese and Korean people stay there.
